What is Share to Secuaz?

Secuaz acts as a share destination on your device. Whenever you tap "Share" in any app (gallery, browser, YouTube, etc.), Secuaz appears in the system list.

When you pick Secuaz, the content (images, videos, text, or links) is sent directly to the post composer so you can add context and publish in seconds.

How sharing works

Step 1: Install Secuaz as a PWA

Enable the share feature by installing Secuaz as a Progressive Web App:

Android Chrome: Tap the menu (•••) → "Add to Home screen"
iOS Safari: Tap "Share" → "Add to Home Screen"
Desktop: Use the install icon in the address bar

Step 2: Share from any app

Open the app that contains the content you want to share (photos, browser, YouTube, etc.)
Tap the native "Share" button or icon
Choose "Secuaz" from the share destinations
Secuaz opens automatically with your content ready to publish

Step 3: Publish

You'll land in the post composer with your media already loaded. Add text, hashtags, mentions, and visibility, then publish.

Supported content types

Images: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP (up to 10 MB each)
Videos: MP4, WebM, MOV (up to 100 MB each)
Text: Notes, snippets, captions
Links: URLs from articles, videos, and websites

You can share multiple files at once. Secuaz processes them and creates a carousel in your post.

Browser compatibility

The share feature uses the Web Share Target API, available on:

Android Chrome 75+: Full support (images, videos, text, URLs).
Android Firefox: Limited support (text and URLs only).
iOS Safari 15+: Full support after installing the PWA.
Desktop Chrome / Edge: Experimental support on Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS.

Note: Desktop browsers that aren't Chromium-based (Firefox, Safari) may not support sharing. Use the mobile experience for the best results.

📸 Share photos from your gallery

Select one or many photos → Share → Secuaz → Add a caption → Publish.

🎥 Share YouTube or TikTok videos

Tap "Share" on the video → Secuaz → We create a post with the link and title automatically.

📰 Share interesting articles

Tap "Share" in your browser → Secuaz → The title, URL, and description are extracted automatically.

✍️ Share text or notes

Select text in any app → Share → Secuaz → The snippet becomes the post body.

Privacy & security

Shared content is processed locally on your device before it reaches Secuaz servers. Nothing stays cached in the browser or is shared with third parties.

TLS encryption: Every transfer is encrypted end-to-end.
Exclusive access: Only Secuaz receives the shared content.
Total control: Review and edit everything before publishing.
Auto-delete: Canceling removes the content from temporary storage.
